What's On

The academy's students and teachers give a large number of concerts every year

With more than 200 concerts a year the Royal Danish Academy of Music is one of the largest concert givers in Denmark. And most of the concerts are free to the public.

Concerts at the academy

In a characteristic building designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen there is music all year round. A large part of the concerts will take place at the academy's buildings which contains no fewer than six concert halls, including the building's landmark, the big, beautiful concert hall with seating for more than a thousand spectators. Here the big orchestral concerts is held and it is from this scene the students in the advanced postgraduate study programme make their debut concert and start his career, and it is also here that the Copenhagen Philharmonic is housed in their winter season.

Many venues around Copenhagen

In addition the Royal Danish Academy of Music gives a series of concerts at venues around Copenhagen and in collaboration with partners such as Wonderful Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens and the city's churches.

We hope to see you soon at one of our concerts!
