Copenhagen piano quartet prize winner in Austria

The RDAM based ensemble Copenhagen Piano Quartet just came back from the Johannes Brahms Competition with the 3rd price
The competition took place in Poertschach in Austria from 1st to 9th of September within violin, piano, viola, cello, voice and chamber music. Copenhagen Piano Quartet won the 3rd price in the chamber music competition. The ensemble played a repertoire consisting of Schnittke's Piano Quartet, Beethoven's Piano Quartet Op. 16, and Brahms' Piano Quartet Op. 25.

The musicians in Copenhagen Piano Quartet are Benedikte Damgaard, violin, Kristina Fialova, viola, Adam Stadnicki, cello, and Neel Bramsnæs Teilmann, piano. The ensemble is enrolled in the advanced post graduate programme at RDAM with teachers Tim Frederiksen and Jens Elvekjær. For the next two years the ensemble will have time for developing their interaction and expansion of their repertoire.

The audience can hear Copenhagen Piano Quartet at the Night Concert on the 2nd of November in the Concert hall at RDAM.
