RDAM piano student winner in the Netherlands

3 prizes and a soloist performance
Elisabeth Holmegaard Nielsen piano student at the Royal Danish Academy of Music has participated in the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians 2012, which took place 20th-26th October 2012 in Enschele, Netherlands. The result was nothing less than 3 prizes.

The competition in the Netherlands is one of the most important in Europe for young pianists up to 20 years. It takes place every second year. The entire competition and final concert was streamed live on the website.
The competition is divided into two age categories: Category A from 10-15 years and Category B for the age group 16-20 years. It was in the category B Elisabeth Holmegaard Nielsen won the third price. In addition to that she received the Audience prize and last but not least also the Special Prize maybe most valued: Becoming soloist with the Netherland Symphony Orchestra in their concert season in 2013/14.

Elisabeth Holmegaard Nielsen is at her first year of the Master program at RDAM with Professor Niklas Sivelöv.
