Advanced Postgraduate Student Wins First Prize

Viola player Kristina Fialova wins international prize in Poland

Kristina Fialova, advanced postgraduate student at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, has won first prize in the seventh Michal Spisak International Viola Competition, taking place from 14th to 23rd September 2013 in Katowice, Poland. There were 40 participants from Europe, USA and Asia. The competition consisted of three rounds - the last with orchestra, where Kristina Fialova played Béla Bartók's Concerto for Viola and Orchestra.
