Yan Wu awarded first prize in Italy
Percussion student won first prize in Pavia, Milano
The percussionist Yan Wu won 1st prize in The International Percussion Competition and Festival, Pavia, Milano. Yan Wu (born in 1991 in China) is a student of the advanced postgraduate programme at The Royal Danish Academy of Music where she studies under Professor Gert Mortensen.
The Percussion Competition was held in Pavia, Milano from 19-24 July, and with more than 100 participants from all over the world. The competition was part of a large festival with concerts every day, and among others, RDAM’s percussion ensemble PERCURAMA was invited to perform.
