Ventus awarded 1st Prize in South Korea

Flutist Michaela Hansen and clarinettist Louise Anine Mogensen won international soloist competition

Ensemble Ventus was awarded 1st Prize in Busan Maru International Concerto Competition in South Korea. There were participants from all over the world. The competition consisted of two rounds - the last with orchestra, where Ventus played Francaix Concerto for flute and clarinet with the Busan Symphony Orchestra. Ventus is also invited to play a prize winner concert with the Busan Symphony Orchestra.

Ventus consists of flutist Michaela Hansen and clarinettist Louise Anine Henriksen. In November 2017 they were awarded 2nd Prize in the prestigious P2 Chamber Music Competition organized by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, and in 2018 they were prizewinners in the International Music Competition Luigi Nono and 3rd Rising Stars Berlin.

Michaela Hansen and Louise Anine Henriksen are students of the Advanced Postgraduate (soloist) Programme under Ulla Miilmann and Max Artved at The Royal Danish Academy of Music.
