Accordion student awarded 1st Prize

Radu Ratoi wins the prestigious international accordion competition in Klingenthal

Radu Ratoi was awarded 1st Prize in the prestigious international accordion competition in Klingenthal, Germany. The competition was held 6-11 May 2019. This competition is the oldest and most traditional international competition for the classical accordion, and has participants from all over the world. Winning the First Prize means several concerts for the coming season.

Earlier this year, Radu Ratoi has been awarded 1st Prize in various important accordion competitions in Vilnius (Lithuania), Victoria (Canada) and Kaunas (Lithuania). Radu Ratoi is a Bachelor Student under Prof. Geir Draugsvoll at The Royal Danish Academy of Music.
