International kickoff for a new academic year

The academic year 2020/21 began on 31 August with a welcome for both new and current students at The Academy's Concert Hall. In addition to performances by students at RDAM, Uffe Savery, president of RDAM shared his views on music and music making, and led the entire audience comprising students, teachers and staff in a rendition of Steve Reich’s Clapping Music.

Despite the global COVID-19 pandemic this year, RDAM welcomes a great number of newly accepted students from many countries, both within and outside Europe. In the coming months, national and international talents will be holding their debut concerts, some of which will be live streamed.
