The Concert Hall of the Academy is considered one of the most beautiful concert halls in Denmark. It was designed by Vilhelm Lauritsen Architects and was inaugurated in 1945. The concert hall is suitable for both conferences and concerts, especially classical concerts.
A completely new light and sound system was installed in 2009 and the hall meets the latest standards and requirements of today. The stage has a built-in podium system and is large enough for a symphony orchestra.
The hall has its own professional technician, who takes care of operations and performances. The hall can seat 1058 on three levels: 368 seats in the stalls, 340 seats on the balcony and 350 seats in the upper circle.
