Anne-Marie Lipsonen (born in Finland) studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and at the Stadia Conservatory in Helsinki, with further exchange studies at the Curtis Opera Theater in the USA. She made her debut from the Soloist Class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2010, specializing in accompaniment and chamber music.
She is a sought-after lied pianist and accompanist and has participated in concerts at Det Danske Sangselskab, Nordjyske Sangselskab, Copenhagen Summer Festival and European Academy of Music Festival Weeks in Italy and Germany and many more. She has also been a soloist with the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra and won several awards both as a soloist and lied pianist. In 2008, she received the prestigious Léonie Sonning Scholarship.
Anne-Marie Lipsonen takes a keen interest in contemporary music and in 2019 released a CD with modern Nordic songs together with the soprano Lina Johnson. She has furthermore performed works at festivals for new music such as Musica Nova, Athelas New Music, Young Nordic Music and Chamber Music in our time, Helsinki.
