Since his debut at the age of 13 with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, accordionist Bjarke Mogensen has counted as one of the most prominent young Danish instrumental soloists. He has performed solo concerts at famous venues ranging from Carnegie Hall in the USA to the Kremlin in Russia.
He is a versatile musician whose talent spans his own compositions as well as Baroque, folk music and avant-garde. His back catalogue includes many critically acclaimed releases with solo and chamber music and accordion concertos with symphony orchestra. Last but not least, through his collaboration with composers at home and abroad Mogensen has inspired a notable development of the repertoire and expressive qualities of his instrument.
